what is that? "will to live" - simply put, you don't want to die. how many people do? not many i'm guessing. if somebody came up to you and asked - "are you ready to die?" - you'd probably say no.
i don't think anybody wants to die. nobody's ready to die. we all got someone to say goodbye to - to give one lasting hug to. maybe a last kiss or two. we all have family to throw our waves at, friends as well. nobody wants to die. i sure don't want to die - i got things i want to do. travel, meet new people - all that stuff.
everybody's going to die one day or another. it's scriptural - it's common sense. so the question is - how do we prepare ourselves for death? not a question anybody's willing to ask themselves is it. but why not? is death that fearful?
i think it is. that's just my opinion though. i mean - if i were to choose the way i was to die - i'd choose peacefully, with a huge smile on my face knowing i'll be in heaven with my Lord and Saviour.
what about you? have you thought about death much? honestly, we don't know when we're going to die. we could go to sleep one night and not wake up in the morning. maybe a fatal car crash on the way to work. who knows when we're going to die. God knows - but is God going to tell us when that is? no. why? because then we'd spend our whole life preparing before that time.
how are you going to spend your time here on earth?
i know what i'll be doing. i'm not going to tell you though. sometime i will.
but until that time - go serve your King.
God bless.
"Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come."
- Matthew 24:42
